Dr S Xavier Britto's Journey & Vision
In 1984, Dr. Britto began his journey in shipping and logistics with just 5 employees and Rs 25,000 in seed funding. Today, under the banner of Kerry Indev Logistics Private Limited, his business has grown over four decades into a leading logistics empire with pan-India operations and over 6,000 employees. In 2016, Dr. Britto partnered with Kerry Logistics Network to expand globally, solidifying their presence across all continents. Recognized as a leader in the Indian logistics industry, Dr. Britto continues to drive innovation, making Kerry Indev one of the top logistics companies in India.
Looking ahead, Dr. Britto plans to take the company public with an IPO listing in the next few years. His vision extends to creating a logistics university with a well-structured syllabus, thus creating a legacy and a lasting impact by providing skilled individuals to the ever-growing logistics industry. Dr. Britto is involved in many benevolent activities including adopting 40 villages through the Seek Foundation, to give back to the society at large.
About Our Director
Mr. Mitchell Antonio Britto, aged 22 years is a dynamic and a charismatic person, is a Director on Kerry Indev’s Board, who brings in fresh perspective and outlook for the organization’s future. With his roots in Chennai, he has completed his 10th grade from Shiplake College, UK and secondary education from American International School, Chennai. Thereafter with a passion towards business management and an acumen for international studies, he graduated with Bachelor of Arts degree on Business Management from the University of Westminster, UK in June 2024.
Known for his exceptional organizational and leadership skills, Mr. Mitchell has time and again shown the importance of streamlining operations and fostering a culture of excellence. His strategic vision for the company includes the integration of state-of-the-art technology, automation, and advanced software solutions.
Mr Mitchell's Vision for the New Age
Mr. Mitchell is heading the digitalisation project in the Company to consolidate all verticals of the business into one single platform thereby enhancing the efficiency, effectiveness, and reduced operational costs positioning the Company as a leader in the logistics industry. He believes in making investments in technology to aid in supply chain efficiency and he also believes that improving supply chain visibility is top business priority for leaders and working towards achieving this. He asserts maintaining supply chain in a stable order is a critical thing for SCM solutions providers to provide uninterrupted services during uncertain times.
